In 2020, Red Rock Drilling pledged to becoming carbon neutral within a year and in doing so, committed to using resources efficiently and work to reduce its contribution to climate change.
Climate change is a critical issue that requires global action. The current international scientific and political consensus is that immediate action is needed to maintain global warming to under 2°C by 2100. To maintain global warming under 2°C, governments and communities must take action to address this impact and adapt to the impacts of climate change.
In this context, the following vision has been set:
- Red Rock Drilling’s contribution to climate change will be minimised by becoming carbon neutral by 2020. In addition, we will continually look for ways to reduce fossil fuel use, improving energy efficiency and increasing renewable energy.
